Godfather Plan

The Godfather Plan program is created with the intention of uniting efforts among generous individuals to improve the basic living conditions of vulnerable communities through long-lasting projects. It is approached hand in hand with people who have a high social commitment and an interest in contributing to improving the living conditions of beneficiaries in situations of vulnerability.

What does the program consist of?

The program involves carrying out a comprehensive intervention with the population group selected annually by the Misiones de Amor Foundation through the enhancement of capacities found within the beneficiary group, not only to solve immediate needs but also to leave installed capacity at the intervention point. Beneficiaries are selected based on a technical visit where the needs of the beneficiary group are reviewed and validated. The funding for the process arises from a monthly financial contribution provided by the godparents enrolled in the program.

For 2024, the funds raised in the GODPARENT PLAN program are exclusively destined for improving the living conditions of the members of the Santafé del Caguán boarding school in the department of Caquetá.
